Update
For the year our income exceeds expenses by over $13,000. As always, thank you for your great faithfulness. And, if you have not yet made a financial commitment to the church for 2006, please try to do so as soon as possible. December is the month when our budget committee begins finalizing our budget for the coming year. If you have any questions about pledging or the pledge card, please call the church office.
Our stewardship campaign for 2006 is off to a good start and the church financial picture after ten months of 2005 is also positive. We finished October with the operating fund fifty dollars in the black. That is very positive when you consider that we had a large, unexpected expense in September that left us several thousand dollars in the red. Pledges for ten months have once again moved ahead of our projections and income from use of facilities remained very strong. Income from plate – loose offerings - also increased, although it remains less than our budget projections. But the months of November and December often show an increase in plate income.
