Bouquets to Art
A Day Trip, Friday, March 11th
Once again, The Women’s Retreat Committee is hosting a bus trip to Bouquets to Art at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor’s galleries in San Francisco. Floral designers fill the galleries with floral tributes complementing the works of art in the museum’s permanent exhibit.
This trip includes the bus ride, snacks along the way, admission to the Bouquets to Art, a picnic lunch and time to enjoy with friends as you travel from Sebastopol to San Francisco and back! The invitation to join us is open to anyone who would enjoy this type of trip.
This year Bouquets to Art is held in conjunction with a collection of 19th Century French Masterworks. Bonjour Monsieur Courbet! (or The Meeting) is the centerpiece of the Bruyas Collection from the Musée Fabre, Montpellier.
Tickets are $55 each and include everything listed above. Sign up now in the church office and make your check payable to the Community Church with a note in the memo line “Bouquets to Art.” The deadline to sign up for the trip is February 22.
