Sunday School Class
On Sunday, January 9 at 9:15 am, we will begin a new Adult Sunday School class in the Fireside Room. We will be reading and discussing John Shelby Spong’s book, Liberating the Gospels: Reading the Bible with Jewish Eyes. Bishop Spong is never dull and he never shies away from controversy as he seeks, in his words, “to free Jesus from 2000 years of misunderstanding.” Please join us for a few weeks of lively discussion Sunday mornings in the Fireside Room. Books for the class are available for purchase in the church office for $15 each with checks made payable to the Community Church.
