Update
April continued a now four-month trend of very positive income in the operating fund. We finished the month with operating income $5000 ahead of income projections. Pledge income remained very strong, running almost $5500 ahead of projections. Income from use of facilities also remained strong and since the Annual Meeting in January, we have actually picked up $6600 in additional pledges. With all this good income news, we still spent about $2500 more than we took in during the month. This left our operating fund with a four-month deficit of $6000. Of course, remember that we began the year with a deficit of $13,600, so financial news has dramatically improved. April is always a big expense month with pension, health insurance and property insurance payments. For the year, expenses are running about $1900 ahead of projections, but that situation should improve in May. Thank you for your continued financial support.
