Welcome Confirmands
On Pentecost Sunday, May 15, Greg Bradley, Brenna Hinckley, and Danielle Wilson affirmed/reaffirmed their baptismal vows and were confirmed as members of The Community Church. Welcome and congratulations! We look forward to walking with you on the path of faith.
Baptism
Also on the 15th, as a part of the confirmation service, Greg Bradley received the sacrament of Christian baptism. We wish him many blessings on the journey.
Moving
We bid a sad farewell to longtime and faithful church member, Rod Folendorf. Rod has moved to Clovis and begun a new career. He will own and manage a UPS mail store in Visalia. He has been a blessing to our church and we wish him blessings as he undertakes this new journey.
Deaths
Our prayers are with Marjorie Crump Shears and her family as she mourns the loss of her father, Edward Perry Crump who died in April in Tennessee.
Alice Seder, mother-in-law to our office manager Karin Seder, died in April after a long battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayer are with the Seder family.
