Youth Mission Trip

Ten of our Sr. High PF Youth and five leaders will travel to Phoenix, Arizona over spring break to help work with Humane Borders and at homeless shelters, especially shelters with a large population of children.  The theme for this mission trip is “I Dare You!” and youth coordinator Kristen Anderson is very excited to be working with this small, but dedicated group of youth and parents.  “We may be small, but we have really big plans!”    Each of the youth are required to perform 25 hours of service work here in our own community before they can embark on this week-long adventure.  Their experiences during this mission trip can be life-changing and provide the youth with insight to social justice and community needs.

For some of the youth, this will be their first Sr. High Mission Trip and for others it will be their last as they graduate from high school and move on to college.  But for all of them, it will be an experience they will remember forever.  Thank you for your support  - from the Pasta Dinner, to our food sales after church and especially your prayers – we couldn’t do it without you!
