Adult Education Sunday Class
Spiritual Practices
On Sunday, November 6, the Adult Ed Committee will begin a series of Sunday morning Classes on Spiritual Practices. The class meets in the Fireside room at 9:15 AM and will meet through Sunday, December 11.
The text for the class will be The Way to Love: The Last Meditations of Anthony De Mello.
The class, in response to concerns from many in our congregation to provide ways for people to develop and to continue their spiritual journeys, will offer opportunities for examining and practicing ways to be in touch with spirit. Anthony De Mello, a Jesuit born and raised in India, has offered counsel, workshops and retreats for people on spiritual paths for many years.
Books and outlines for the class are available in the church office. The books will cost $13. Checks may be made payable to Community Church with a note in the memo line “Adult Ed.”
