Update
After a strong summer financially, we slipped a bit in September. Operating expenses for the month exceeded revenues by $960, leaving us with a nine-month operating deficit of $1540. After having been quite strong all summer, pledge income in September dipped $3000 below projections. Another financial note: A number of years ago, we forgave a portion of a loan we had made to the Northern California Conference. That amount, $5600, should have been deducted from the operating fund as a mission expense, but it was not. In September the Trustees were advised that this expense needs to be accounted for, so it has now been deducted from our operating budget. This has left us with a nine-month operating deficit of $7144.
