Update
We finished the month of August in an encouraging financial position. Recall that we began the year with an operating deficit of $13,591. At the end of August that deficit was trimmed to $587. Quite a turnaround! Our pledge income for the first eight months of the year remained slightly ahead of projections, quite unusual for the end of summer. Thank you for your wonderful faithfulness. Plate income lagged behind projections as it usually does time of year, but income for use of facilities remained very strong. Also, our expenses for the first eight months were $13,000 under projections, which always helps.
