Women’s Fellowship Annual Tea

behalf of the Women's Fellowship, we, members of the Tea Committee, wish to
express our appreciation to all who helped make our Annual Tea a huge success.
Our theme this year was "Celebrating the Seasons". Many thanks go to the 22 hostesses who created the beautiful and colorfully decorated tables. There were approximately 250 people in attendance!
Many hours were spent preparing the sandwich spreads, making the sandwiches and keeping the trays of sandwiches and cookies filled and delivered to the tables. A great kitchen crew did an excellent job making coffee, tea and keeping the water pitchers filled.
Throughout the year the Women’s Fellowship ladies held weekly workshops to design and make stationery, tea towels and crafts to be sold at this event. This Tea is our only fundraiser to help us support our many outreach programs and we appreciate your support. We were blessed to have a variety of items donated for door prizes as well as items donated for our sale table.
Due to many requests, our program again was the ever-popular "Men in Black" group who entertained us with a selection of songs of the seasons – the program was enjoyed by all.
It took many hands to accomplish this successful event and we don't want to leave anyone out. Many thanks to all of you but we would like to make mention a few: Custodian Ernest Kangara, Jim and Alan Murakami and Tom Dilley helping to set up and to Pat Rollins for his help with clean up and Harriet Jacobson for handling ticket sales.
A very special thanks to Ann Butterfield and the Junior High youth who did an excellent job of delivering the many trays of sandwiches, cookies and door prizes to the tables.
