Update
The church financial picture after 10 months was a classic good news/bad news scenario. The good news is the operating fund finished the month of October a little over $2000 in the black! October has often been a challenging month financially, so that was good news indeed. The bottom line was helped by a significant increase in loose offerings and by strong income from use of our facilities. Expenses for the first ten months also remained well under projections. The bad news part of this picture is that pledge income as lagged, finishing October $15,000 below projections. Our pledge income for the first ten months of 2006 was almost $16,000 below our ten-month pledge income for 2005. So hopefully, in November and December we can do a little catch up. Let’s all remember the church on our Christmas gift lists.
