A Sense of Community g February 10 & 11
The
Sense of Community comes from the connections of the people involved. Three of
the many areas of connection within the church are worship, spirit and activity.
During the All Church Retreat on February 10 & 11 at Enchanted Hills, we are going to focus how our inner spirit can be a bridge to a deeper sense of community.
The retreat will be led by our minister and some of our church leaders. It will be a time of quiet and meditation. We will have presentations on aspects of spirit and some presentations on aspects of community and some people will want to share their own experiences. We will practice quiet times and we will also have some fun exercises that will help us to know each other in different ways.
Ñ We will span generations Ñ We will have wonderful food and wonderful accommodations Ñ The beds are comfy and the space is pleasant Ñ Even on a rainy day we can look out onto a lake and enjoy the beautiful meadows and forests Ñ
While we may have a variety of different experiences at this retreat, what we will all have in common is a sense of drawing closer together with each other.
