Baptism
Caleb Arfst Petersen, born June 6, 2006, was baptized into the Christian faith on October 15 by Rev. Nelson at The Community Church of Sebastopol. Parents are Joe and Alicia Petersen and grandparents Gary and Louise Petersen and our own Mike and Kathy Matthies. Blessings!
And Susanna Simms was baptized in October as she prepares to become a member of The Community Church of Sebastopol.
Wedding
Church member Raven Walters was married in Rohnert Park to Aaron Dworking in August 2006. The afternoon ceremony was officiated by the Rev. John Simmons. Congratulations and blessings to Aaron and Raven as you start your new life together as husband and wife.
Renewal of Vows
Mike and Kathy Matthies celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at The Community Church of Sebastopol with the renewal of their vows. The ceremony was performed in the sanctuary by Rev. Nelson followed by a reception in Memorial Hall. Congratulations!
Death
Fred Michetti, father of member Joanne Matson, died in his home in Santa Rosa in October. A memorial service and reception was held at The Community Church of Sebastopol, officiated by Rev. Nelson on October 14. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joanne and her family.
