October 1   World Communion SUnday

  God’s Promise: Blood Kin

The story is told of a young girl who, when handed the communion cup and told it was the blood of Christ, jerked away saying, “Yuck! I don’t want any of that!”  There is something about the power of shared blood that goes very deep.
