Update
We finished February with a positive balance in the operating fund of $1347. But remember that we began the year with a balance of $5570, so we actually lost some ground financially over the few two months of the year. There were some large expenses with quarterly payments due, so expenses for the year are actually running a little ahead of our projections, but we have also slipped behind in our projected income, especially our pledge income. After two months, we were $8000 below our projected pledge income, which means we had received only 81% of what we need to meet our budget. So as we look to the spring, hopefully we can all rededicate ourselves to generous financial support of our church.
