Update
Thanks to a year-end burst of generosity and caring on the part of the members and friends of our church, we finished 2006 with an operating surplus of $11,166! That eased some of the financial anxieties of our budget committee and a certain senior minister. Thank you for your dedication. As of January 20, we had received 2007 pledges from 133 households totaling $256,774 for the operating fund. This puts us ahead of where we were at a similar time last year, but there are still a few households from whom we have not heard. But as of now, it appears we will be able to reach our 2007 budget goals, so again, thank you.
