Weddings
Kelly Sweeney and Kevin Stupfel were united in marriage in Santa Rosa on June 9th. Rev. Nelson officiated. Our prayer and best wishes are with them and the families. Both the Sweeneys and Stupfels are long time church members.
Chris Olsen and Renee Gordillo were united in marriage in the church sanctuary on June 16th. Rev. Nelson officiated. Our blessings and best wishes go out to them. Chris’s mother, Elizabeth Olsen, is a faithful member of our church.
Baptism
Marc Felton and Richard Wood received the sacrament of baptism before joining the church on June 10th. Our prayers are with them as they begin their walk in the Christian faith.
Madelyn Jean Tully-Smith was baptized on June 17th. Parents are Cameron and Jill Tully–Smith. So we welcome Madelyn and rejoice with her family as she begins her walk in the faith.
Farewells
Becky Nelson has moved to Riverside, IL, just outside Chicago, were she will study occupational therapy for the next two years.
Elena Larssen has moved to LaGrange, IL, also just outside Chicago, where she has been called as Associate Pastor at First Congregational Church of LaGrange, UCC.
