As of June 19 our RALLY ROUND the ROOFS campaign has brought in $34,205 pledges (to be paid by August 31) of which $27,117 has already been paid. That covers a little over 57 squares, or 2850 shingles – only 2150 more shingles to go! If you need a RALLY ROUND the ROOF pledge card, please pick one up after church or call the office and one can be mailed to you.
The money used to fund this project came from your roof pledges. The difference in pledges received and the final cost for the project of $52,000 has been borrowed from the property upkeep reserves. This is a fund we need to replenish to insure major maintenance projects can be completed in the future.
Any additional donations received will help keep our church maintenance on track and cover unexpected expenses as well as anticipated long-term projects.
Rally Round the Roof pledge cards are available on the narthex table or in the church office. Roof pledges can be mailed directly to the church with a notation in the memo line “ROOF” or placed in the Sunday offering plate.
