Blood Drive June 10
In Memorial Hall Following Worship
Blood Bank of the Redwoods will hold a blood drive in Memorial Hall after worship on Sunday, June 10. They are in desperate need of donors, so please wander over to Memorial Hall after worship on June 10 to donate – and help save lives!
· Every three seconds someone needs blood in the US.
· 60% of the US is eligible to donate – only 5% do.
· 1 out of every 4 people entering a hospital needs blood.
· Approximately 35,000 units of blood are used each day in the United States.
· Just 1 pint of donated blood can help save up to 3 lives.
· Youth (age 17 and older) can donate and make up 20% of donations in Sonoma County.
