Come join the fun on July 8 for our annual All-Church Picnic – great BBQ, home made ice cream and the Community Band, all at a special day at Georgetown! You don’t want to miss out, so mark your calendars now and plan to join us on July 8 right after worship.
Come and enjoy an afternoon in the shade at the beautiful picnic grounds at Georgetown, complete with a private, behind the scenes tour. If you have never been to Georgetown, this is a wonderful opportunity not to be missed to enjoy the wonderful grounds and get a first-hand look at this turn of the century town filled with memorabilia, one of a kind items and classic cars from early 20th century Hollywood.
Wear your picnic clothes to church and we’ll carpool over to 4015 Frei Road following worship. The Community Band will play from Noon to 12:45, we’ll have a great meal topped off with homemade ice cream and maybe a game or two.
Barbeque Tri Tip and Chicken will be on the menu prepared by Roger Collins and, depending on your last name, we are asking you to bring a salad, side dish, or drinks to share:
A-M, bring a salad; (green salad, fruit salad, macaroni, or potato salad, you name it!)
N-S, bring a side dish (chips & dip, baked beans, deviled eggs, vegetable tray, you get the idea!)
T-Z, bring a beverage (water, soda, fruit juice or ?)
