Update
January proved to be an expensive month as new levels of staff compensation were paid along with quarterly payments for pension and health insurance. Operating receipts were also slightly under our budget projections. All this means that we spent about $5600 more than we received for the month. But we remain in the black, with an operating balance of $5570.
And the figures for operating pledges for 2007 are very encouraging. As of February 15th, we have received 137 pledges totaling $261,354. This really is good news because the anticipated pledge revenue for our ’07 budget is $257,024. Thanks to your great faithfulness, our new year is off to a very encouraging financial start.
