Thanks to Tom Dilley, Bob Holland, David White, Harry Polley, John Henel and Jim Dempsey for pruning and generally cleaning up our church landscaping. Thanks also to the Landscape Committee and Sr. High PF youth for the spring plantings around the church before Easter and to the landscape committee for its continuing care of the church grounds.
Thanks to Burt & Evelyn Bishop for helping with the newsletter mailing and also to Genia Thorhaug and Joe Turner (thanks Dad!). And thank you to Diana Iverson for faithfully collating the Sunday bulletins.
Thank you to Emma DelMonte and Dakota Blackstone for serving as acolytes for the Maundy Thursday service and to all the folks who helped make our Holy Week and Easter services so special.
Thanks to Elyse Mengle and her faithful Women’s Fellowship “crew” for providing receptions following memorial services…even on Easter Sunday! Much of their work is behind the scenes, but they provide a wonderful and caring service that is deeply appreciated by families both within and outside our church fellowship.
Thank you to the Sign Committee for our new signage to help newcomers and visitors find their way around our busy campus.
Thanks to Nancy Dempsey, Mary McMillon, Ellen Stillman, Jan Kahdeman, Beth Tappan and the Hinckley family for helping with the lunch preparations for the Rebuilding Together project on April 21. Thanks also to all of you who worked on the housing projects.
Special thanks to our Silent Auction Donors: Thank you very much! Thank you to all the senior youth for your help with the Silent Auction and Pasta Dinner. Each youth donated either goods or services, and these donations were very much appreciated! Thanks also to congregation members and friends Marie Cotton, Susan Nestor, Kathy and Mike Matthies, Vivian Dimick, and Diana Wilson, (and, with apologies, to anyone we missed) for your kind and lucrative auction donations. We raised approximately $5,000 at the dinner and auction to help to offset costs of the Boston Mission trip the youth attended over spring break in April. And thank you to all of you who attended the auction & pasta dinner – We appreciate your support!
