Update
The good news is that the church finished September with our operating fund in a strong financial position. During the month, operating receipts exceeded expenses by $2200, leaving our operating fund with a positive balance of $11,101. It has been a long time since we have finished a September with such positive financial news. After nine months, our pledge income was about $3500 behind our budget projections, but this was more than balanced by plate income which was over $8300 above our projections. Also, both facility use and Memorial Hall income remained strong. On the expense side, while we were over in a few areas, our overall operating expense was $4800 under projections. As always, thank you for your faithful financial support of our church. We enter our budget process for 2008 with hopes and dreams for new programming. Our current strong financial position helps to bring those hopes and dreams closer to reality.
