Thank you
to Tom Whitson and the Buildings & Grounds Committee for the work on the outside
restrooms – what a big improvement! Thanks also to Tom Dilley for getting our
new storage unit on site and to David White for helping move items into the
storage unit. And we have David White and Tom Larssen to thank for completing
the pass-through in Fellowship Hall – it is better than ever! And with our first
rain we have Tom Dilley to thank for getting on the roof to make sure our
gutters were cleared. And thanks to Tom Dilley and Ken McHugh for changing out
all those light bulbs way up high in the sanctuary with cooler, energy efficient
bulbs. Thank you to Elyse Mengle for coordinating the New Member Luncheon and
thank you to all who pitched in to help with the luncheon.
Special Thank You
Thank you so much for all the prayers, cards, flowers, food and support during
Lud’s brief hospital stay and subsequent death. It means so much to have such
wonderful, caring people in my church family and I thank each of you for your
love and support. I am especially beholden to those who helped with Lud’s
memorial service – the planning, the music, the reception – it was a beautiful
service and I am thankful for all that you did and continue to do to help me and
my family through this difficult time. Your words of comfort have been a great
