Update
The month of August saw a bit of a pullback financially. Both pledge and plate income fell, with pledge income falling below our projections. But, on the positive side, income from use of facilities showed a significant increase. What it all means is that August expenses exceeded income by $7000, leaving us with an operating balance of $8917. That remains a very positive figure. Coming out of the summer with our operating fund still in the black is a good thing. Again, thank you for your financial faithfulness through the first eight months of the year. On the expense side, we finished August about $250 below are projected expenses for eight months…a pretty good job by our budget committee and all those overseeing expenses.
