Neighbors In Need
The yearly Neighbors In Need (NIN) special offering will be gathered in at The Community Church on Sunday, October 28th. This offering, received in UCC churches in the fall of each year, is designated for special mission, development and educational projects in the United States. One-third of NIN funds support the Council for American Indian Ministry and two-thirds of the offering is used by the UCC's Justice and Witness Ministries to support a variety of justice initiatives, advocacy efforts, and direct service projects. The Council for American Indian Ministry (CAIM) is the voice for American Indian people in the UCC.
