Update
February’s financial news was the classic good news – bad news scenario. First the good news: more operating pledges came in, increasing our pledged total to $262,633. This leaves us only $750 short of our pledge goal for 2008. 142 households have now made a pledge. Thanks to you all.
The not so good news is that we had an operating deficit of $9500 for the month. While pledge income remained fairly strong, other areas of income lagged behind our projections. Expenses stayed within our budget projections, so the shortfall for the month was an income issue. However, we still finished the month with a positive operating balance of $1729.
