Rebuilding Together

What is Rebuilding Together? It is a one-day “blitz” during which volunteers rehab the houses of people, usually the elderly or disabled, who do not have the money or health to take care of maintenance projects themselves. 2008 Rebuilding Together day in Sebastopol will be on Saturday, April 19th. Houses have been selected and planning has begun. Rev. Nelson is on the steering committee and volunteers will be needed to help with construction, yard work, food, transportation, and a number of other tasks. Watch for more information as we seek to put together a Community Church Rebuilding Together Team or contact Rev. Nelson if you would like to volunteer.
The Community Church will be helping to prepare lunches in the Fellowship Hall kitchen on April 19. If you would like to help, please call the church office at 823-2484.
