Tuesday - Pancake Day

Shrove Tuesday is the day before the beginning of Lent and Ash Wednesday. It is also known as Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday or Carnival. Historically this is a day to feast on pancakes and use up the supplies of fat, butter and eggs from your pantry, foods that were forbidden during Lent.
The Community Church would like to start a family tradition of celebrating Shrove Tuesday with a
Pancake Dinner
5:30 -7:30 pm
Memorial Hall
Bring the family and friends for a night of pancake races, pancake songs, pancake stories and of course a pancake dinner. Come in your pajamas if you wish!
To insure there will be enough pancakes to flip, we need your RSVP. Please drop this off at the church office or call 823-2484 and let us know who’s coming!
Your free will donation will be accepted!
