Church Picnic at Georgetown
Come join the fun on July 13 for our annual All-Church Picnic – great BBQ, home made ice cream and the Community Band all at a special day at Georgetown! You don’t want to miss out, so mark your calendars now and plan to join us on July 13.
Wear your picnic clothes to church and put a blanket or folding chairs in the trunk as we head out to Georgetown right after worship to 4015 Frei Road in Sebastopol. Enjoy music, barbeque and a special tour of Georgetown and the wonderful collection of movie set memorabilia, antiques and so much more on display. This is also the day we are commemorating Rev. Nelson’s 30 years with the Community Church during worship – let’s just continue the celebration after worship – join us for the All-Church Picnic July 13.
Barbeque Tri Tip and Chicken will be on the menu prepared by Roger Collins and, depending on your last name, we are asking you to bring a salad, side dish, or drinks to share:
A-D, bring a beverage (water, soda, fruit juice or ?)
E-N, bring a salad; (green salad, fruit salad, macaroni, or potato salad… you name it!
O-Z, bring a side dish (chips & dip, baked beans, deviled eggs, vegetable tray… you get the idea!)
If you have any questions or ideas or offers to help, please call the church office at 823-2484. We need help with hauling chairs for the band and extra tables and a variety of other items from the church over to Georgetown and back again.
