PASSAGES
Deidra Dawson and Chris Warner were united in marriage at Griffith Woods on May 31st. Deidra is a church member and the daughter of Chris and Lisa Dawson. Rev. Nelson officiated. Blessings to Deidra and Chris as they begin their life together as husband and wife.
Deaths
A memorial service for Hayla McDonnell was held in the church sanctuary on Saturday, May 31st. Rev. Nelson officiated. Hayla was actually married in our church when it was located downtown on Main Street, across from the Post Office, and her children attended Sunday School there. Our prayers are with her family. Hayla was Rhonda Matheny’s aunt.
Lydia Morrow, daughter of the late Joyce Morrow, passed away on June 13 while in the hospital at UCSF. Our prayers are with her four sons Chris, James, Kenny and Jeremiah. A remembrance of Lydia was held in the Fireside Room on June 21.
Birth
For those of you who remember Pat Stewart, we recently heard from her daughter, Lisa (Merrill) Coe, that another grandchild was born! Connor James Coe was born on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 8:12 am in Sacramento. Connor weighed in at 8 lbs, 4 oz and was 20 inches long. He was welcomed home by Mom & Dad and big sister Jordan.
