Even as America tends to worship at the altar of the sovereign individual, we still seem to be so lonely.  Hank Williams spoke for millions when he sang, I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry.

August 3        American Contradictions: Violence and Peace

Johnny Cash often sang of violence as having a sinister will all its own: “I shot a man in Tulsa, just to watch him die.” Why this ongoing attraction to violence even as we follow the Prince of Peace?

Sermon Series: THE GOSPEL AND DR. SEUSS

On August 10, 17 and 24th, we will examine Gospel themes in the beloved stories of Dr. Seuss.  Rev. Nelson will preach on the 10th, Jean Boal will preach on the 17th and Kristen DelMonte will preach on August 24.
