Update
As of February 13th we had received operating fund pledges from 140 households, totaling $256,060. Our operating fund pledge goal for 2008, as approved by the Annual Meeting, is $263,335. So, as you can see, while we are very close, we still aren’t quite there. If you have not yet had an opportunity to make a financial commitment to the church for 2008, there certainly still is time. And if you have any questions or want to make any changes, please contact Denelle at the church office – 823-2484.
For the month of January, operating expenses exceeded income by about $2500. That really isn’t too bad considering that January always has some large first of the year expenses, such as pension, health insurance, and stocking up on some necessary supplies. We still finished the month with a positive operating balance of $11,265, so not a bad financial beginning to the new year.
