16 Palm Sunday
On this Sunday we commemorate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem with a palm processional and special music by our Chancel, Children’s and Brass Choirs. Worship is at 10:30 AM with nursery care and church school during the same hour.
March 20 Maundy Thursday
During this service we remember Jesus’ last supper with his disciples in the Upper Room. As candlelight fills the Sanctuary, we gather 12 at a time around the communion table to receive the Lord’s Supper. The service then concludes with the moving service of Tenebrae - the extinguishing of the lights as the story of Jesus’ betrayal, arrest, trial and crucifixion is read. Childcare is available. The Maundy Thursday service will begin at 7:30 PM in the Sanctuary.
March 21 Good Friday
The Community Good Friday service will be held at noon on Good Friday, March 14 this year at the Sebastopol United Methodist Church.

23 Easter Sunday
This year we will celebrate Easter and its promise of new life and hope with two joyous and different and distinctive worship services.
9:00 AM. – Something new…a Jazz Easter. Our church jazz ensemble will provide the music as we celebrate Easter with a distinctive beat. There may be a few other musical surprises as well. Rev. Nelson will preach on, “An Unnatural Hope”
11:00 AM – A more “traditional” service as the choir, handbells, organ and brass lead us in a glorious celebration. Rev. Nelson will preach on, “A Savior at Large.”
Of course, there will be lilies and beautiful banners and child care at both services. Join us for a powerful affirmation God’s promise of life that no tomb can contain.
