Update
The first two months of the summer, June and July, can often be challenging months for the church financially. But this year, those months proved to be very positive for us. We finished July with a positive operating balance of $5564. Both pledge and plate income were strong, pledge receipts actually a little ahead of our projections, while plate income is just slightly under projections. So thank you all for your faithfulness and commitment. For the first seven months of the year we were also able to hold the line on expenses, with actual operating expenses $3000 below our seven-month budget projections. So let’s keep up the good work as we look to the fall and the beginning of many church programs and activities.
