This
year’s Rebuilding Together day will be Saturday, April 18th. The goal of
Rebuilding Together is to upgrade and fix up the home of an elderly or disabled
person in a day. Members of our church have participated for the last three
years, doing everything from helping to prepare lunches for the volunteers (this
takes place at our church) to yard work to working on a specific project on the
designated house. Again this year we will be looking for workers, so mark the
date on your calendar. If you would like to help with the lunch preparation or
working at a project site, look for the volunteer form in the church office.
Lunches will be prepared in the Memorial Hall kitchen on Saturday morning – call
the church office at 823-2484 if you would like to sign up to help make
sandwiches.
