This non-fiction is an exceptional opportunity to learn more about the women of Islam. Available now at the Sebastopol Public Library, Reference Desk – see instructions above. Rosemary Manchester leads the discussion and can answer your questions.
The Same Book Twice will not meet in January 2010.
Here’s how it works:
1. You will need a library card. If you don’t already have one, you can get one at any branch of the Sonoma County Library. There is no charge.
2. Go to the Reference Desk of the Sebastopol Library and identify yourself as a member of the Community Church Book Group. The Reference Librarian will give you the book.
3. Go to the Circulation Desk and check out the book. You will be able to keep the book for 30 days and even renew it if necessary. You can renew by email or telephone.
The books for November and December are available now at the Sebastopol Library.
Please sign up to be on the Book Group notification list – you will be notified what the book selection is for each month. The book titles will also be posted in the church newsletter and the Sunday bulletin. The books are selected from titles available to book groups from the Sonoma County Library. Call the church office at 823-2484 to sign up or for more information.
The next meeting date is December 1 each meeting at 2 PM in the Fireside Room and 7:30 PM in Room #4. Rosemary welcomes your feedback and suggestions for books to discuss.
