Church Picnic at Georgetown
Come join the fun on July 12 for our annual Church Picnic – great BBQ, home made ice cream and the Community Band all at a special day at Georgetown! You don’t want to miss out, so mark your calendars now and plan to join us on July 12.
Wear your picnic clothes to church on July 12 and put a blanket or folding chairs in the trunk as we head out to Georgetown right after worship to 4015 Frei Road in Sebastopol. Enjoy music, barbeque and a special tour of Georgetown and the wonderful collection of movie set memorabilia, antiques and so much more on display. Because of the historical and fragile nature of the displays, please, no touching or handling items. And parents, please keep a watchful eye on your children.
Barbeque Chicken will be on the menu prepared by Roger Collins and, depending on your last name, we are asking you to bring a salad, side dish, dessert or drinks to share:
A-D, bring a beverage (water, soda, fruit juice or ?)
E-J, bring a salad; (green salad, fruit salad, macaroni, or potato salad… you name it!)
K-Q, bring a dessert – no explanation needed!
R-Z, bring a side dish (chips & dip, baked beans, deviled eggs, vegetable tray… you get the idea!)
Your help is needed to make this event a success. Please call Karin in the church office right now while you’re thinking of it at 823-2484 and offer your help. We need people with trucks to haul over tables and chairs, some one to bring all our garbage/recycling back to the church dumpster and recycling bins, someone to organize the food, someone to bring over the paper towels, plates, utensils, garbage bags and ice. We also need volunteers to make a couple of extra large salads and a big pot of beans.
