Update
We entered the summer months with an operating deficit. At the end of May our operating fund was $12,939 in the “red.” Recall that we began the year with a deficit of $9765, so we lost a little ground over the first five months of the year. The good news is that pledge income has actually remained quite strong, running ahead of budget projections. Keep up the good work! Plate income has lagged and income from use of facilities hasn’t quite met our projections, but hopefully that will improve in June. Also, after five months, our expenses were slightly under projections so that is also good news. We have had the necessary cash flow to cover our bills, but the church will need the faithful financial support of all of us during the summer months.
