Update
After a strong March, our church finances took a step back in April. During the month, operating expenses exceeded income by $7600, leaving us with an operating deficit of $17,115. Pledge income actually remained strong which is good news, but income from plate and use of facilities lagged. For the first four months of the year, our operating expenses were just $1500 over our projections, so we are pretty much holding the line on spending. Our challenge is going to be to maintain income at a strong level.
