Death
Robert Matheny, father of Rhonda Matheny died on May 5th. A memorial service for Bob will be held in the church sanctuary on Friday, June 12 at 2:30 with Rev. Nelson presiding. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rhonda and her family as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
Wedding
Kendall Dawson was married on May 30 to Bret Wasley at Ocean Song in Occidental. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Nelson. Kendall and Bret are both lawyers and currently reside in Berkeley. Kendall is the daughter of Chris and Lisa Dawson. Congratulations and blessings!
Baptisms
Before becoming a new member of the Community Church, Lewis Britton, received the sacrament of baptism during the worship service on May 17. Our prayers and blessings are with Lewis as he begins his walk in the Christian faith.
Dawson Bell and Jeff Unternaehrer, both members of the 2009 Confirmation Class, were baptised on Pentecost Sunday during the worship service at the Community Church. Please welcome Dawson and Jeff and the entire Confirmation Class as our newest members of the Community Church: Emma DelMonte, Joshua Hovden, Elise Peterson and Will Plaugher.
