We recall Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem with a festive service featuring Chancel and Children’s Choirs, and our Brass Choir. Palm Crosses will again be distributed following worship.

We remember Jesus’ last night with his disciples in the upper room as we gather around the communion table twelve at a time. The Chancel Choir will sing. And this year, following communion, we will also have a foot washing ritual for those who desire it. We remember how, in the upper room, Jesus’ washed the disciples’ feet as a sign of service and love.
April 10 Good Friday 7:30 PM

Our church will host the first ever evening Good Friday Community Service. The service will conclude with the moving service of Tenebrae – the extinguishing of the lights as the story of Jesus’ betrayal, arrest and crucifixion is told.

April 12 Easter Sunday
Again this year we will have two distinctive Easter celebrations, plus the addition of a sunrise service:
6:30 A.M. – Sunrise Service in Ragle Park. Rev. Brian Plaugher and others will lead this early celebration of Easter morning at the Peace Garden in Ragle Park.
9:00 A.M. – A Jazz Easter Celebration, as Rev. Nelson and our Jazz Band lead this upbeat Easter service. Easter with a distinctive beat!
11:00 A.M. – Traditional Easter Celebration with Chancel, Handbell and Brass Choirs providing uplifting music as we share the wonder of Jesus’ resurrection.
