Update
After a couple of financially challenging months, the month of March provided a needed turnaround. Operating income exceeded expenses by $6500, and the pledge receipts were particularly strong. At the end of the month, year to date pledge income actually exceeded budget projections by $1500. After the first quarter of the year, we still showed an operating deficit of $9500, so there is still work to do. But March was a welcome improvement.
