Ethel Schram, mother of Diana Wilson, passed away on March 21, 2009 in Florida after a long illness. Ethel lived in Sebastopol for a period of time before moving to Florida and was the director of the Chancel and Handbell Choirs here at the Community Church of Sebastopol. A memorial service was held in Florida with internment in Sebastopol at Pleasant Hill Memorial Park.
Dorothy McKoin’s mother, Betty Johnson, passed away on April 3 following a long illness. Betty’s five children assembled from as far away as Italy for a family gathering in their mother’s honor in Poulsbo, Washington where she lived.
Church member Hosanna Bauer is mourning the death of her father, Richard Trefts, who passed away on April 10. Mr. Trefts lived in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and was a well loved, gentle and kind man. The family will hold a private memorial service in May.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Diana, Dorothy, Hosanna and their families as they mourn the loss of their loved ones.

Marie Arendt was born on March 23 in Santa Rosa to Dan Arendt and Lisa
Gonzalez. She weighed 8 pounds and was welcomed home by big brother Dylan. Dan
and Lisa wanted to add that they are so very grateful for all the support and
prayers from their church family during this difficult pregnancy. They feel
truly blessed to have both mom and baby home and healthy.
Nolan Abel Petersen was born 12:45 PM on April 20, 2009 to parents Joe and Alicia Petersen. Nolan weighed in at 8 lb 2 oz. Mom and baby are doing well and big brother Caleb is excited to have a brother to play with! Proud grandparents are Mike and Kathy Matthies. Congratulation and blessings!
