Births
Ken and Marilyn McHugh proudly announced the birth of their 4th and 5th great grandchildren – twins! Evelyn Rose weighed 5 lbs 7 oz and measured 18 ¾” and Ezra Lee weighed 5 lbs 6 oz and measured 17 ½” and were born in San Diego to the McHugh’s oldest grandson, Captain Chris Fosdahl, and his wife Elissa on September 18. Elissa is a stay at home mom with the new babies and two year old big sister and dad is a Marine Corp pilot stationed in San Diego.
Baptisms
The Look children, Jansen, Austen and Lange Look were baptized into the family of Christ on October 4 at the Community Church by Rev. Nelson. Loving parents are Rod and Adair Look. Family members from all over the country were present for this special baptism. Our prayers and blessings are with Jansen, Austen and Lange as they begin their walk in the Christian faith.
On October 18, Elia Kathleen DelMonte was baptized at the Community Church by Rev. Gene Nelson. Elia’s parents, Andy and Rev. Kristen DelMonte, along with big sister Emma and big brother Ethan stood along side as she was baptized into the family of Christ. Grandparents are Mary and John DelMonte from Healdsburg and Kathy Anderson from Tennessee. Blessings!
Moving
It is official: Jeff and Jean Boal are now fulltime residents of Weaverville. Jean has been serving the UCC church there since July, and now Jeff has moved there as well and set up an office. We wish them blessings and peace as they establish themselves in a new town. They and their great faithfulness and service to our church, their talent, sense of humor, creativity and friendship will be greatly missed.
