Alzheimer’s Respite Needs Your Help
Volunteers are needed to assist in the Alzheimer’s Respite sponsored by Catholic Charities in Santa Rosa. This is the same program that was originally held at our Community Church in Fellowship Hall for about five years. Mel Davis, a Community Church member, helped with the program then and is still a volunteer with Alzheimer’s Respite.
The need is now greater than ever and a waiting list has been set up to enroll persons with Alzheimer’s, Dementia or Parkinson’s disease. Our church members and loved ones have benefited from this program. Volunteers are asked to donate one day a week, (Monday, Wednesday or Fridays) from 9 am to 3 p.m. If you are interested in helping contact Mel Davis or Michelle Osman at Catholic Charities, 528-8712 ext 185.
