Apple Pies Report
We Did It!
Another
year, and another round of Apple Pies – this year and we made 1,500 Gravenstein
apple pies, about half sold at the fair and half sold out of our “drive thru” at
Memorial Hall. We grossed $15,631.24 and as soon as we have all the bills paid,
we will have a net total to add to our camp scholarship fund. We sold our last
pie from Memorial Hall a little before 4:00 and the last pie at the fair just a
few minutes before it's closing at 5:00! Great Job! Thank you to all
who helped! We had a great crew this year -- from set up to clean up!
If you have any feedback for our committee we will be having a debriefing meeting at Family Camp, or if you have ideas you can write a note and put it in the Apple Pie mailbox in the church office. There is always room for improvement. And if you would like to join the Apple Pie Committee (no meetings!) and have a leadership role next year email Kathy at kbell@santarosa.edu.
