Once again, we will “launch” our new program year on LAUNCH SUNDAY, September 13. Our fall church school program for children will begin, choirs, bells and brass will return to worship, balloons and banners will be in the sanctuary, and following worship, we will have our traditional launch of the bubbles. And this year…SOMETHING NEW!!! We are also going to host a neighborhood barbeque! We are going to invite our neighbors and city officials to join us following worship for lunch. Food has already been arranged. Church groups - youth, music, mission and outreach, etc., - are invited to have tables explaining what they do and we will have a major display outlining our new building plans. Our Brass and New Orleans jazz groups will provide music, along with some surprise guests. What a day! Plan to join us for the launch, the food and all the festivities on September 13.
