Cabaret Night
In the 1920’s, gin came in a bathtub and a hot date might simply be sweet words whispered at the train station. In the 1930’s, Busby Berkeley cast a kaleidoscope of dancing beauties on the silver screen inside to help people forget the breadlines outside. In the 1940’s, crooners and torch singers kept folks longing for love. Vocalist Lizann Bassham and pianist Darryl Fenley perform songs from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s in our intimate Cabaret Lounge (a completely transformed Fellowship Hall!) Brian Wetzel will emcee the event with news and notes from the past. And to warm you up, coffee, espresso, hot chocolate and a platter of delightful desserts will be served. A fun evening, to be sure!
