Death
Naida Johnson, a long-time member of the Community Church, died at home following a long illness on May 11, 2010. Until her illness, Naida was very active at church and taught Sunday School for more than 40 years, sang in the Chancel Choir, organized our Advent events and the Summer Children’s Interest Centers and always provided craft leadership during MADD Camp as well as a number of other activities. Naida was a big part of the Community Church and her guiding presence will be greatly missed.
A memorial service for Naida was held on May 22 at the Community Church with Rev. Nelson officiating.
Baptism
Larry Robert was baptized at the Community Church on May 16, his sister Denelle Tognozzi standing at his side, officiated by Rev. Nelson. Our blessings are with Larry as he rededicates himself to the Christian faith.
Birth
William Christopher McCallum Stoll was born by caesarian section in Santa Rosa on May 16 to parents Debbie McCallum and Chris Stoll. William weighed 11 lbs 14 oz and measured 20.75” long. Debbie and the new baby are both doing well and big sister Olivia can’t wait for him to get up from his nap to play!
